The Historic White Horse Inn menu features many perennial favorites and creative entrees prepared with a traditional flair in keeping with the charm of the restaurant. The dinner menu features Grilled Baby Lamb Chops, “High Street” Scallops, St. Louis Style BBQ Ribs, Seared Ahi Tuna, Tenderloin Filet Mignon, Savannah Chicken, Bourbon Steak, Brushcetta Pasta, Fox Hunt Salad, White Horse “Signature Salad”, Maple Mustard Glazed Pork Chops, Crusted Atlantic Salmon and, of course, our Famous "all you care to eat" White Horse Inn Fish and Chips. Local Michigan produce is always purchased when seasonally available. Organic greens are used in all of our salads. Just feel like a sandwich? We have those too! Delicious Twin Tenderloin Sliders, 1/2 Pound Sirloin Burger - VOTED Best Burger in Mid Michigan, Juliana's Chicken Ceasar Sandwich, Vegetarian Burger served on a Pretzel Roll and more!
In addition to the regular dinner menu, customers can select dinner features that change daily. Examples of some of our past offered features are Hamtramck Pierogies, Broiled Michigan Whitefish w/ Glazed Gulf Shrimp, Maryland Soft Shell Crabs and Grilled Gulf Shrimp w/ Savannah Style Rice. Warmer weather permitting, we also offer our slow roasted BBQ half chickens. Our fabulous half chickens are a guest favorite! They are slow roasted for 2 1/2 hours on our outside charcoal BBQ grills and basted every 15 minutes with our secret white BBQ sauce.
The lunch menu is extensive and varied featuring over a dozen creative sandwiches including Twin Tenderloin Sliders, A' big fat" Blarney Burger, Juliana's Chicken Ceasar Sandwich, Traditional BLT, the "Charlie Backus" Sandwich, Oriental Chicken Wrap, our traditional Sirloin Burger, all you can eat Fish and Chips and delicious salads, soups and desserts.
Desserts offered throughout the day include warm Romeo's Westview Orchard's Apple Pie served with Ray's Cinnamon Ice Cream, Big Fat Chocolate Cake, Housemade Creme Brule, Housemade Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce and a Michigan Sundae topped with Sanders Hot Fudge and Caramelized CandiedWalnuts.
