The Historic White Horse Inn is the oldest restaurant in Michigan and has been a favorite Michigan dining destination spot for 160 years. A favorite, not only because of its history and quaint Metamora town location - but mainly because of its food.  Awarded "three stars" by the Detroit Free Press Food Critic noting that The Historic White Horse Inns "menu is a delight", "desserts are spectacular" and the "flash fried calamari was the best we've eaten".  Travelers come from Oakland, Wayne, Genesee and Lapeer Counties to experience The Historic White Horse Inns charming atmosphere and delicious food.  We are a smoke-free environment.
